Gene Sequencer is a web application for analyzing and comparing gene sequences. This web application allows users to input a reference gene sequence and a set of example gene sequences. It then processes the sequences to find a common 4-character target subsequence, aligns the example sequences with the reference sequence based on the target subsequence, and highlights specific features in the sequences. The results can be downloaded as a text file.
Users can either manually input the target subsequence or let the application find it automatically. In addition, users can upload a text file containing the example sequences or input them directly into the application.
